About KalamaTopia
KalamaTopia might sound familiar. In 2014 and 2015 Downtown Kalamazoo Inc. hosted KalamaTopia on the main Kalamazoo Mall. And, then in 2018, after a 2 year hiatus, the event was hosted again on the North Kalamazoo Mall. And now, it is a Kalamazoo Holiday Tradition that is here to stay!
KalamaTopia is a Friday happy hour of celebrating all things made by small businesses. Embracing the cold, both the outdoor space of rthe Kalamazoo Farmers Market and the inside of the Don Cooney Cultivation Center will come alive with vendors and even (adult) beverages brewed right here in Kalamazoo. This event will feature artists and merchandise vendors (almost like a Chriskindlemart style) that specialize in anything made in Kalamazoo County as well as Michigan. It is designed as an expo where vendor booth tables will line the Kalamazoo Farmers Market canopies and inside the Don Cooney Cultivation Center.
The event is free to attend.

$60 Indoor Space Booth Fee

$30 Outdoor Space Booth Fee

You are responsible for bringing your own chair(S). The spaces are under the canopy (so no tents) and have built in tables.
$75 Food Truck Space

Vendor Booth Guidelines:
-
If selling food without an STFU licenses, food booth must be ready for Health Department inspection at 4:30 p.m.

Food prices will be determined by the individual booth and the profit that the booth makes will stay with the vendor.

Tents are encouraged (10 by 10) and should be secured by weights, due to the site, no staking is allowed.

The Vendor agrees to abide by all health and legal regulations of the City of Kalamazoo and to obtain all necessary permits. A certificate of insurance is also required for onsite cooking (a requirement of the city of Kalamazoo).

Booth must be operated and maintained from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The KalamaTopia event team will assign booth locations and will provide a confirmation map prior to the event.

Set-up, tear down and further instructions will be sent with site maps following acceptance of the application.

Please submit the booth fee with this application. Checks are made payable to KELC Events.

The KalamaTopia event team will make every effort to safeguard the premises. However, KELC Events cannot assume responsibility for damage or loss due to acts of nature or acts of theft or vandalism.

Unfortunately, no refunds will be made in the case of inclement weather.
